Burn Restrictions Lifted

With the recent atmospheric conditions lowering the National Fire Danger Rating System (NFDRS), Mason County will be following DNR’s lifting of all burn restrictions effect immediately, allowing for Residential and Permitted Land Clearing burns. Please note that if you live in the Urban Growth Areas of Allyn, Belfair, or Shelton, only Recreational Burning is allowed. If you have any questions, feel free to contact the Fire Marshal at 360-427-9670, extension 309.


 

Fire Prevention Week is the longest observed public-health campaign in the United States. During Fire Prevention Week, firefighters educate the public how to stay safe in case of a fire.


This year’s theme is Cooking Safety. There are important actions you can take to keep yourself others safe when cooking.
