We are accepting applications from those interested in filling our vacant position on the board of commissioners.
The West Mason Board of Fire Commissioners consists of three elected individuals responsible for governing the operations of our district. Some responsibilities include:
Determining the level of service to the community
Approving spending and budget
Establishing policies and procedures
Employing fire personnel, including the fire chief
Guiding strategic planning
Representing the fire district to the public

Mason County Fire District 16, or West Mason Fire, is now accepting applications for citizens interested in becoming a fire commissioner. Aside from having a passion for your community, you must also live within the boundaries of the fire district.

There are two monthly meetings held on the second and fourth Wednesday of the month where the commissioners plan the future of the district and approve spending.
