TO REPORT AN EMERGENCY,
CALL 911.

ON YOUR AUGUST 2020 BALLOT:
THANK YOU FOR VOTING!
West Mason Fire thanks you for your continued support as we strive to provide you and your loved ones with high-quality emergency services.
Thank you for voting in the April 2020 election and your support in restoring the regular property tax levy to $1.30/$1,000 of assessed valuation. The EMS levy request also received more than 50% approval, however because of the nature of the measure, it requires 60% which we fell just short of.
We feel this measure is very important to the future of the district as it will provide funding for paid EMTs and Paramedics. This provides an opportunity to increase daily staffing and improve training and response outcomes, but also to better support the health and well-being of our current and future volunteers. For these reasons and more, we are requesting your support again on the August 2020 ballot.
August 2020 election results are in! It looks like we are still coming in shy of the 60% approval needed to move forward with this initiative.
If you have any additional questions or concerns regarding ballot measures, tax initiatives, and how our budget is comprised, please reach out to us. We would be happy to hear your perspective and answer any questions you may have.
