Chief Matthew Welander spoke about the recent August election results in Mason County. West Mason Fire was just short of passing both propositions on the ballot in August and we will be running the EMS Levy in November.
Without the support of the community, the fire department will struggle to exist. Low volunteer turnout and high call volume is affecting us greatly and we need the help of our community to be able to continue to provide high quality emergency services to our neighbors.
